Softball Recap: Valley Vikings vs. Albuquerque Academy Chargers

After only two runs in their last game, Valley made sure to put some runs up on the board against Albuquerque Academy on Friday. The Valley Vikings walked away with an 11-6 win over the Albuquerque Academy Chargers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Valley.

Alexus Zubia-Olivas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off 11 hits (and only one walk). Zubia-Olivas was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
