Soccer Game Preview: Appleton North vs. Kimberly

The Appleton North Lightning will venture away from home to square off against the Kimberly Papermaker Wasp at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Appleton North will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Appleton North proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past Pulaski 2-1.

Meanwhile, Kimberly kept a clean sheet against Eau Claire Memorial on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Old Abes with a sharp 3-0 win. Kimberly's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Appleton North's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Kimberly, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
