Cuba City came tearing into Saturday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Bangor Cardinals by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 71-42. The Cubans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 27 points or more this season.

Cuba City's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Bangor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cuba City will head out to challenge Lancaster at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Cuba City likes a good challenge. Bangor has already played their next contest (against Necedah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
