Preview: Lawrence County Red Devils vs. Russellville Golden Tigers
Lawrence County is 10-0 against Russellville since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Lawrence County Red Devils will be playing at home against the Russellville Golden Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Lawrence County suffered their closest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They fell just short of West Morgan by a score of 50-48.
Despite the defeat, Lawrence County got a solid performance out of Kylie Graham, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Graham has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ava Templeton, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Russellville, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-44 loss to Lawrence County two weeks ago.
Lawrence County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Russellville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
