Recap: Mojave Rattlers vs. Centennial Bulldogs
On Monday, the Mojave Rattlers faced the Centennial Bulldogs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mojave had just enough and edged the Bulldogs out 76-73. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
C.J. Shaw continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Shaw is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Nathan Sherrard, who scored 17 points.
Mojave's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Centennial, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mojave will challenge the Aggies at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to take on the Grizzlies at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Spring Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Monday.
