East Chapel Hill won the last time they faced Carrboro and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 75-46 victory over the Jaguars. The Wildcats not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since December 28, 2024 (when they won 79-32).

East Chapel Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from David Bryan, who shot 55% from the field en route to 15 points and three steals. Bryan is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. William Characklis was another key player, putting up 15 points and four steals.

East Chapel Hill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Despite the loss, Carrboro still got an impressive performance from Jake McGrath, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 16 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiran Kamath, who posted seven points.

East Chapel Hill's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Carrboro, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

East Chapel Hill has already played their next contest, a 66-30 defeat against Apex Friendship on the 2nd. As for Carrboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-26 loss against Northwood on the 2nd.
