Soccer Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

If Orange was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Cedar Ridge on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Seaforth Hawks on Wednesday, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Orange of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Caroline Cathey, who's now up to nine this season.

Orange has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Seaforth, they pushed their record up to 8-2-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Orange has already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Williams on the 21st. As for Seaforth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Middle Creek on the 17th.
