Basketball Recap: West Carter Comes Up Short

West Carter lost against Lewis County back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The West Carter Comets fell 58-49 to the Lewis County Lions.

West Carter's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Lewis County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.

West Carter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-6 victory against Elliott County on the 13th. As for Lewis County, they have also already played their next game, a 64-50 defeat against Bracken County on the 13th.
