Volleyball Recap: Niles Comes Up Short

Niles suffered their biggest defeat since September 18th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Mishawaka Cavemen, falling 3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Niles took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-19.

Niles' loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Mishawaka, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Niles will venture away from home to challenge Vicksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mishawaka, they will take on Jimtown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
