Norris City-Omaha-Enfield hit Carrier Mills-Stonefort with a five-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats came up short against the Fighting Cardinals, falling 12-5.

Dongola couldn't beat Cobden on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Demons took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appleknockers. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Dongola, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Carrier Mills-Stonefort couldn't quite get it done against Dongola in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 12-8. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
