Volleyball Game Preview: Green Valley Gators vs. Arbor View Aggies

The Green Valley Gators will square off against the Arbor View Aggies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Green Valley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Centennial, who was ranked fourth at the time (Green Valley was ranked 20th). The Gators fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs on Thursday.

The 3-1 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-22, 25-27, 25-22.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Arbor View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Foothill by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Arbor View is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-16 record this season. As for Green Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-19.
