Basketball Recap: Interstate 35 Takes a Loss

Interstate 35 was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center 52-25. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center are ranked 37th).

Interstate 35's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.

Interstate 35 is taking a road trip to take on Earlham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Central Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
