Football Recap: Cisco Skates Past Christoval with Ease + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Cisco had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Christoval Cougars 62-0. That 62 point margin sets a new team best for the Loboes this season.

Cisco found their leader in sophomore Colby McIlroy, who threw for 110 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 82 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

Cisco was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 323 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Cisco didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Corbin Harrison and Carter Toof. Harrison got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Cisco's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.3 points over those games. As for Christoval, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Coming up, Cisco will venture away from home to square off against Panhandle at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. The Loboes will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Christoval does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
