South Gibson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 43-22 to the Franklin Road Academy Panthers on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Coming up, South Gibson will head out to take on Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin Road Academy, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Cookeville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
