Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

St. Joseph had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Valley Buffalos with a sharp 3-0 win. The Jayhawks not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 26th (when they won 3-0).

Sophia Fischer paced St. Joseph's offense, picking up 11 kills. Fischer got some help from Regan Fischer and her 22 assists. Regan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

St. Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Valley, they moved to 13-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

St. Joseph wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Monticello on the 18th. As for Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Duchesne on the 18th.
