Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morgan). They strolled past the Crooksville Ceramics with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 65-49. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Morgan was led to victory by Tavian Myers and Luke Coleman. Myers dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards, while Coleman dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Brylee Shannon was another key player, putting up eight points.

Morgan's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Crooksville, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Morgan and Crooksville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Morgan (ranked 596th) will meet Maysville (ranked 33rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Crooksville (ranked 510th) will meet New Lexington (ranked 180th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
