Soccer Recap: Ketchikan Comes Up Short

Ketchikan lost against Soldotna on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kings fell just short of the Stars by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Ketchikan have lost by just one goal.

Chelsey Weber and Lucie Parks scored both of Ketchikan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Ketchikan has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Soldotna, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Ketchikan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Soldotna, they will venture away from home to take on Nikiski at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
