With a playoff win on the line, Northeast Dubois rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 51-38 win over the Evansville Christian Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Jeeps sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

It was another big night for Lyllee Schnell, who went 6-for-8 to rack up 19 points and seven boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emmersen Kalb, who scored 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why Evansville Christian lost, don't look at Hannah Higgs. Despite the final result, she had 15 points and seven steals. Higgs has been hot, having posted six or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Hall, who put up two points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Northeast Dubois' victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Evansville Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8.

Northeast Dubois wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-42 win against Tecumseh on the 8th. Evansville Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
