Vidalia won the last time they faced Dublin and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians came out on top against the Fighting Irish by a score of 2-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Vidalia took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14.

Tykeriah Kennedy paced Vidalia's offense, picking up four kills. Kennedy were helped by Laina Williams and Makenzie Ellis, who contributed two assists each. Jada Bates controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Vidalia's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Dublin, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Vidalia and Dublin will both be playing Northside the next time they take the court. The Fighting Irish will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
