Football Recap: Lakeview Centennial's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Lakeview Centennial proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 39) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Naaman Forest Rangers 22-20. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 27-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lakeview Centennial's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Naaman Forest, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Meanwhile, Naaman Forest is set to challenge their familiar foe Wylie East at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Ja'Ki Robinson and Jaiden McLemore.
