Basketball Recap: Big Pasture's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Big Pasture unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 60-44 bruising from the Sterling Tigers. The Rangers were probably out for revenge after losing 58-53 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Big Pasture's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-3. As for Sterling, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Pasture will take on Frederick at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sterling, they will challenge Indiahoma at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Indiahoma: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Sterling has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
