Basketball Recap: Harris-Lake Park's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Thursday

On Thursday, the Harris-Lake Park Wolves didn't have too much trouble with the Ridge View Raptors as they won 54-37. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Raptors are ranked 253rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Harris-Lake Park and bumps their season record up to 17-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-17 South O'Brien and 6-13 Ridge View. As for Ridge View, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Coming up, Harris-Lake Park will face off against South O'Brien on February 13th. As for Ridge View, they will challenge Newell-Fonda at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
