Basketball Recap: Scottsbluff Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

A well-balanced attack led Scottsbluff over Chadron in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. The Scottsbluff Bearcats were the clear victor by a 70-46 margin over the Chadron Cardinals. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Scottsbluff's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Burda, who made all 5 shots he took to post 14 points. Burda is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Keon Delgado, who went 6 of 7 en route to 13 points and five rebounds.

Scottsbluff pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Chadron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scottsbluff will challenge Bennington at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Chadron, they will take on Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
