Softball Recap: White Plains' Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a proper cat-fight when White Plains duked it out with Munford on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 8-3 to the Lions. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

The loss snapped White Plains' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-14 record. As for Munford, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7-1 record this season.

White Plains will face off against Spring Garden at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Munford, they will take on Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
