Nobody could stop Ian Carie on Tuesday as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over six innings pitched. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with more than five strikeouts. For the season, he has an ERA of .91 over 23 innings pitched.

Carie's strong effort led Overton over Cane Ridge and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats are 9-1 against the Ravens going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
