Football Recap: Polk County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Patton last Friday, Polk County came back down to earth. The Wolverines fell just short of the Owen Warhorses by a score of 17-14 on Friday. The Wolverines gained 92 more yards on the day, but it was the Warhorses that made the best use of them.

Despite the loss, Polk County still got an impressive performance from Loreynzo Sanchez, who rushed for 189 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 63 receiving yards and one score. Sanchez is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 115 every time he's taken the field this season.

Polk County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Owen, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
