Basketball Recap: Clearwater Central Catholic Makes It 17 in a Row at Home

Clearwater Central Catholic had won 16 straight home games dating back to last season and Emme Dalhoff did her part to make it 17 on Friday. The Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders walked away with a 47-40 win over the Northside Christian Mustangs thanks in part to Dalhoff, who went 8 for 19 en route to 21 points in addition to eight steals and five boards. Dalhoff is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Northside Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Caidyn White, who posted ten points. Sofia Rodriguez was another key player, putting up seven points.

Clearwater Central Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Northside Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.
