Football Game Preview: Deposit-Hancock vs. Harpursville/Afton Hornets

Deposit-Hancock will challenge the Harpursville/Afton Hornets on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Deposit-Hancock has three straight victories, Harpursville/Afton has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, Deposit-Hancock made easy work of Newark Valley and carried off a 35-13 win. Deposit-Hancock might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-13, which was the final score in Harpursville/Afton's tilt against Watkins Glen on Saturday.

Harpursville/Afton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Deposit-Hancock, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
