Basketball Game Preview: Ridgedale Rockets vs. Mt. Gilead Indians

Ridgedale is 0-3 against Mt. Gilead since February of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. The Rockets will challenge the Indians at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, Ridgedale came up short against Worthington Christian and fell 55-42.

Meanwhile, Mt. Gilead had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 66-52 victory over Highland.

Ridgedale and Mt. Gilead were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but Ridgedale came up empty-handed after a 59-58 loss. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Indians' Hayden Somerlot, who went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc on his way to 27 points and three steals. Now that the Rockets know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
