Flag Football Recap: Burlingame Victorious

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Burlingame had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They snuck past the Notre Dame Regents with an 18-12 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Although Notre Dame took the loss, they still got scores from Isela Trujillo and U'Ilani Wells.

Burlingame's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Notre Dame, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6-1.

Coming up, Burlingame will head out on the road to take on San Mateo at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bearcats' defense has only allowed 10.1 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
