Basketball Game Preview: Chapel Hill Red Devils vs. White Oak Roughnecks

The Chapel Hill Red Devils will head out on the road to square off against the White Oak Roughnecks at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. White Oak took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Chapel Hill, who comes in off a win.

Chapel Hill saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against Hawkins by a score of 47-37.

Meanwhile, White Oak lost to Nacogdoches on the road by a 45-28 margin on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Roughnecks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1034th, while the Dragons are ranked 344th).

Chapel Hill is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for White Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Chapel Hill came up short against White Oak in their previous matchup back in December of 2020, falling 39-34. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
