Milton and Navarre are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Milton Panthers will head out to face off against the Navarre Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Milton's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Monday's match will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Milton didn't have quite enough to beat Crestview and fell 3-1. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Milton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker McCoy, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Navarre and Gulf Breeze had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Navarre came up short against Gulf Breeze on Friday, falling 12-1. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Dolphins: they've now lost three in a row.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Navarre, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Milton has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Navarre struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Milton suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Navarre when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Milton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
