While Covenant Christian Academy's win against Victory Baptist wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Warrior on Thursday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Warrior recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Covenant Christian Academy was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (100-97), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 13-25, 25-22, 25-14, 16-14.

McKenna King paced Covenant Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. King got some help from Lauren Grentz and her 11 assists. King also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Clara Roughton, racking up four apiece.

The victory got Covenant Christian Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Victory Baptist, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Covenant Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sugar Hill Christian Academy on the 22nd. As for Victory Baptist, they will venture away from home to square off against Trinity Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
