Basketball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 57-33 to the Columbus Grove Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 73rd).

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Columbus Grove, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Jefferson will take on Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus Grove, they will challenge Lincolnview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
