Basketball Game Preview: Bradwell Institute Tigers vs. Glynn Academy Terrors

Bradwell Institute and Glynn Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Bradwell Institute Tigers will host the Glynn Academy Terrors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bradwell Institute comes in on eight and Glynn Academy on three.

Bradwell Institute is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing South Effingham: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bradwell Institute blew South Effingham out of the water with a 68-16 final score. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Bradwell Institute can attribute much of their success to Jordyn Rogers, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 15 points and six boards. Parris Parham was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 10 points and seven rebounds.

Bradwell Institute smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 23 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Glynn Academy didn't have too much trouble with South Effingham on Saturday as they won 53-34.

Glynn Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Bradwell Institute, their victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2.

Bradwell Institute didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Glynn Academy in their previous matchup two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 44-40 win. Will Bradwell Institute repeat their success, or does Glynn Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
