Baseball Recap: Ozaukee Takes a Loss

Ozaukee fell victim to Oostburg and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Flying Dutchmen. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Ozaukee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Schroeder, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Ozaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1. As for Oostburg, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13.

Ozaukee and Oostburg could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Warriors will face off against Cedar Grove-Belgium at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (286 vs. 48). Meanwhile, Oostburg (ranked 339th) will meet Horicon (ranked 77th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
