Football Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Roosevelt was the 21-0 winner over Marlboro Central when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Presidents took a 25-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dukes on Friday. The Presidents have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Roosevelt took the loss, they still got scores from Issa Kakish and Hudson Stehle.

Marlboro Central found their leader in sophomore Nate Armstrong, who made 13 total tackles and defended one pass.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Marlboro Central, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will head out on the road to challenge Beacon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so the Presidents' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Marlboro Central, they will be playing at home against Red Hook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
