Volleyball Recap: Christian Academy Comes Up Short

The Christian Academy Eagles came up short against the Temple Christian Pioneers on Saturday and fell 2-0.

While Christian Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-9.

Serenity Abbott paced Christian Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Abbott got some help from Saryah Abbott and her eight assists. Becca Keller controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dominion Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Temple Christian, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Botkins on the 19th.
