Basketball Recap: Teutopolis Takes a Loss

Teutopolis was the 37-27 winner over Nashville when they last played one another back in February of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 47-31 to the Nashville Hornets. The match marked the Wooden Shoes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Teutopolis' loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Nashville, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

Teutopolis will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Effingham at 7:45 p.m. on January 31st. Nashville has already played their next game (against Mater Dei), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
