Volleyball Recap: Xavier Find Success

Xavier won the last time they faced Chilton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hawks came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Grace Hackl had a dynamite game, getting nine digs and eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Neilitz, who had 14 assists and seven digs.

They weren't the only good server: Xavier was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Xavier's record is now 2-0. As for Chilton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Xavier wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Howards Grove on the 26th. As for Chilton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Appleton East on the 26th.
