            For the second straight game, Draughn will face off against Owen. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to  take on the Warhorses  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Draughn is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last seven games.
While Draughn's  win against Owen wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  7-5  victory over the Warhorses  on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Wildcats have posted  since March 5th.
 Tate Jensen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Draughn's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when he doesn't).

 Jensen wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Jacob Mull, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Mull has become a key player for Draughn: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  one  home run, but 4-5 otherwise.
 Draughn  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Owen struck out 16 times.
 Draughn pushed their record up to 8-5 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Owen,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-11.
