Ferris came into Wednesday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Mead Panthers 2-1 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for Ferris: when they faced off against Mead back in March, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Mead, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ferris will square off against rival Shadle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mead is set to take on their familiar foe Mt. Spokane at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
