Marysville has gone 8-2 against Bear River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Marysville Indians will square off against the Bear River Bruins at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Marysville against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy as the squad secured a 57-30 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Jordan Brooks was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 10 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maqai Ellis, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Bear River had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three last Saturday. They had just enough and edged the FIGHTING KNIGHTS out 59-57.

Bear River's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Marysville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Everything went Marysville's way against Bear River in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Marysville made off with a 68-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marysville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
