Baseball Recap: Seymour Takes a Loss

Seymour fell victim to Fordland and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Seymour and nudges their season record down to 10-9. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Fordland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Seymour will take on Sparta at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Fordland has already played their next contest (against Stoutland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
