Volleyball Recap: Appleton North Comes Up Short

Appleton North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Slinger Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Appleton North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-29. As for Slinger, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Appleton North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Kettle Moraine Lutheran on the 11th. As for Slinger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Arrowhead on the 11th.
