Soccer Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian lost against Faith Christian Academy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Conquerors, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Trinity Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 511th, while Faith Christian Academy are ranked 147th).

Trinity Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Faith Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will host Christ Covenant at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Faith Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Community Christian at 4:30 p.m. Faith Christian Academy will need to watch out since Community Christian have now posted at least four goals in their last four matches.
