Soccer Game Preview: Macon County vs. Station Camp

The Macon County Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Station Camp Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Station Camp will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Macon County extended their winning streak to five on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Greenbrier. With Macon County ahead 3-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Station Camp made easy work of Portland on Thursday and carried off a 5-1 victory. The win continues a trend for Station Camp in their matchups with Portland: they've now won nine in a row.

Station Camp's victory bumped their record up to 9-2-2. As for Macon County, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-1.

Macon County might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Station Camp when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
