 Floyd is on  a five-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Dora a nine-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Floyd Broncos will take on the Dora Coyotes at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
 On Monday, Floyd fell victim to a  rough 26-3 loss at the hands of Gateway Christian.

 Meanwhile, Dora scored the most  runs they've had all season  on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They took  a  13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elida. Even though they lost, Dora's still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
  Ashton Davis led a balanced group of hitters,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.  Isaac Jasso was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Dora  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .660. That's the best  OBP they've managed all season.
 Floyd's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dora, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
 Floyd came up short against Dora in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023, falling  18-15. Thankfully for Floyd,  Kegan Rodriguez (who   struck out six batters over  2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit) won't be suiting up this time.
