Softball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

Phillips and Chicago Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Phillips had to settle for second. They came up short against the Knights, falling 16-1.

Phillips' defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Chicago Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Phillips nor Chicago Christian have any future games scheduled.
