Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. The contest between the Commodores and the Ridgedale Rockets didn't end well, with the Commodores falling 72-54. If the Commodores were looking for revenge after losing 67-58 to the Rockets when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Ridgedale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Perry won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bath at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgedale and Pleasant will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
